Baby Shower Cupcakes

Received a short notice request for a baby shower cake., i offered making babyshower cupcakes instead.. hopefully my friend will like it :) It's a creamy blue vanilla butter cream frosting on top of a moist vanilla and chocolate cupcake. Not using the traditional pins, diapers or pacifier as a cupcake topper., i used the old school birds and the bees concept. It was a busy mother's day weekend. Had to come up with birthday cake witha "tinker bell theme." It was good to hear that Ayana (4) was amazed with the cake.As long as the birthday celebrant is happy - I am happy :)

Birthday cakes and Cupcakes

Started baking cakes and cupcakes for my kids and every now and then for my friends. It has been so much fun creating them specially with fondant! I can really say its the play dough for adults :) My best recipe so far is the Classic Chocolate and Vanilla on Vanilla...
Thanks to my friend who gave me 3 months notice to make her daughter's birthday cake, now i am doing this on a regular basis. I say., life is too short -- really -- to let this opportunity slip by.
